Linking: There’s a hole in my bucket

Saturday, June 6, 2020 by Eva Easton 5 Comments

Linking is a basic element of
American English Pronunciation.

In a dictionary, words are given in isolation.
In natural speech, however, you don’t
say words separately.  You link them.

In this video, we practice linking in
the song “There’s a hole in my bucket.”

Now it’s your turn.
Here’s your audio pronunciation quiz.

    Bravooo!!!
I know that you sing Croatian songs, so a lot of practice explains you can sing that well. Do you sing in other languages too, like in Russian or Spanish ???
    Thanks for the video.
    Long live our Eva!

      Thank you.

I like to use songs and poems for learning a language. Singing is not just for people who are good at it. It’s fun to make this kind of lesson.
